The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Section provides services covering a broad range of worker safety issues that affect the health and well-being of University faculty, staff, and student employees. Occupational areas covered include the maintenance, custodial, and construction trades; technical fields; shops and art studios; dining, farm, animal care, and protective services; and office and administrative areas. The OHS section promotes safe work practices and compliance with worker safety regulations.  It develops policies and programs, conducts training, responds to complaints and referrals, and performs workplace consultations, audits, indoor air quality assessments, and accident investigations.
