Cheryl received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University. She has been working in the Environmental Health field as a Sanitarian for over 14 years and received her Registered Sanitarian license in 1998. Cheryl is certified as a Food Service Inspector, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor and Subsurface Sewage Disposal System Inspector. Her responsibilities at UConn include inspection of food service facilities, pools and temporary food service events, food safety education and food service facility plan review.
